Dear Manuel, Thank you, we enjoyed our stay at no.26 very much. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the apartment and we had everything we needled. It’s appreciated that you supply things like dishwasher tablets, toiletries etc. It was a shame that the television did not function during during our week, but we understand that that was a problem affecting several of the apartments in the block, due to a previous storm.

The facilities with the pool was a little disappointing as there was noisy building work however we decided not to sit by the pool but it did affect others which we saw. We chose to come back to these apartments as we had enjoyed our time before, we were a little disappointed by the noise from the shop "tourist Island" who played loud music all day from when it opened at nine to when it close approx. 8.30pm. Our biggest observation to feedback is the lack of shutters on the windows. This let the midday sun in therefore heated up the bedroom and the very thin curtains made very very light. Response Thank you for your review. We already ordered sun shade curtains, but living on an island delivery can take very long. About the shop - I talked to the owner and asked him to turn down his music which he now does. Sorry for building noise. We always try to do only what is absolutely necessary to keep up our high standard. There were two apartments that had to be completely renovated but they are done now - Marfolin is back to quiet and luxurious vacations!

Reviewed by Mark on 8/26/2015: s a family of 4 with 2 teenagers we had a great holiday at The Marfolin Apartments. The location of the apartments are second to none with a fantastic 25 x 15 metre pool which you can walk from straight onto the beach. The apartment itself is superb, marble floors very modern and a fantastic very large roof terrace with sun loungers looking over 2 fantastic beaches and the town. Sun loungers were also available round the pool and not once were they reserved and always available. The towels and bed linen changed each week. Marfolin is the best apartment block in El Cotillo and for us after travelling round 90% of Feurteventura the best resort; which is saying something because the island itself is all good. The beaches are fantastic and cater for all ages from paddlers to great surfing. There is a great selection of restaurants with us eating out every lunch and dinner time only using the well equiped kitchen for the fridge with drinks! The sea food is better tasting and value than the Mediterranean and the people very friendly and relaxed. Arcotrust really look after their apartments and their clients with a great meet and greet service and help you with any extra information and service you may require. Thank you for a super relaxing holiday.

Reviewed by Juliette on 4/17/2015: Acrotrust were very helpful and made the booking/rental process smooth and trouble free. The apartments are in a fantastic location and El Cotillo is a special place. We did bodyboarding, beach walks, enjoyed the fantastic restaurants, snorkelling, all in February (in sea with wetsuits!). We were disappointed with the apartment as it didn't suit a family with very small kids so well (we booked one on the 1st floor) but we were advised the ground floor ones were popular with families so we should have booked one of those. These have easy pool and beach access and it would probably be possible to eat outside on the terrace (in February) as the ground floor terraces are more sheltered. They also look like they have complete black out shutters, great for children. Our first floor flat had a large terrace on the roof but it was either too windy or too cold to eat up there, and less convenient to carry plates etc. up there. However we loved El Cotillo and found Acrotrust a good company to book with so we will probably return next year but instead book a ground floor apartment at Marfolin.

The beach is perfect, especially for kids when the tide is low. The beach south of El Cotillo is brilliant, too. Amazing waves, perfect for surfing/bodyboarding. Nice little fishing village, excellent fish-restaurants. No tourist hot spot. Will come back.

We've stayed in the Marfolin a number of times but never enjoyed quite the same level of friendly service as provided by Tanja, whether by email or in person. The apartment has everything you would need for 3 or 4 people (or maybe more), but the roof terrace and location are what would make anyone return year after year. Up on the roof you can sunbathe from sunrise until glorious sunset. You can read endlessly, it's so peaceful. And you can enjoy food and wine to your heart's content. And when you feel you need to cool down (for whatever reason) just look out over the lagoons and feel the cool sea breeze caress your body. Oh, and there is the village, the restaurants and the small bars, and the surfing beach, but Marfolin...it's the best!

Tanja greeted us with a warm welcome when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartments are of a very high standard & have everything you need for a holiday. It's like a home from home.

Everything in the apartment was very good and the roof terrace had a patio that was sheltered from wind. There was also a very good wifi which was fast and stable. Staying in El Cotillo was very good and we hope we can get back to Marfolin 26.

Reviewed by HTM on 11/2/2013: Staff at Arcotrust very helpful, pleasant and efficient. Apartments are good, ours needed some fine tuning but that is very much down to the owners rather than Arcotrust. Pool areas lovely, clean too. Right next to a lovely beach. Unfortunately also right next to undeveloped sites that look terrible. Having said that El Cortillo is rough around the edges with nice highlights. Overall would stay again and we had a good holiday.
